See the pattern. Inspect the evidence.

Select an organism × antibiotic cell to connect susceptibility with its tested count, interval, missingness, and reporting status.

THREE GUIDED DISCOVERIES

90% does not describe the evidence width.

18 / 20 = 90%95% Wilson interval 69.9–97.2%
90 / 100 = 90%95% Wilson interval 82.6–94.5%

Equal percentages can carry different sampling uncertainty. More observations narrow this interval; they do not remove bias.

Method, calculation boundaries, and reference

These are deterministic teaching fixtures. Comparisons subtract unrounded proportions and round once for display. S + I + R equals the antibiotic-specific tested count. Tested counts are never added across antibiotics to infer patients. Suppressed, missing, and actual 0% results remain distinct.

Real antibiograms require laboratory-verified results, isolate de-duplication, current breakpoints, and consistent reporting. See CLSI M39 ↗. This demonstration does not claim M39 compliance.
